At Isla CHC, we pride ourselves on being a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), which means we are deeply committed to improving the health and well-being of underserved populations. Every day, we make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families by providing comprehensive, affordable care.

The Isla Community Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This means that ICHC receives federal funds under Section 330 of the Public Health Services Act to provide medical services in an medically underserved area or population.
FQHCs must meet stringent federal requirements, including providing services on a sliding fee scale based on ability to pay. FQHCs must also operate under a governing board that are at least 51% patients.
Board Composition
Isla Community Health is open, and we remain deeply committed to caring for our people today and for many years to come. The temporary adjustments we have made are intended to help us responsibly navigate current operational realities so that we can move forward stronger, more resilient, and better positioned to meet the long-term healthcare needs of our community.
